• We have covered so much ground in such a short time, the Lord is speaking so much, I honestly do not know where or even how to start! For once in my life, and anyone who knows me will be shocked, lol. We have covered the team and the individual members of the team at reasonable length, but what i am being impressed with now and it’s been on my mind is the question “once we embrace the new design of Church, what is that going to look like?”

That is a really good and valid question because the paradigm of Church must shift collectively first before we can even begin really to break down the new dynamics of the Church as Ekklesia. I have been sensing for some time now that this paradigm shift is gaining traction all across the land, but there is still so many more who need to catch on.

I discern though as the ones who are in the shift, as they get stronger and more acclimated in the newness, that like any small fire begins, it will grow, I am very certain of that. But in all fairness to the question the best answer I can even attempt to give is what God is doing in my ministry at Made in the Fire Ministries.

The vision was given in 1989, but God shaped me for an additional 35 more years, so that in 2015, after God gave me a vision and a metaphor of the fire, Made in the Fire Ministries was becoming in its infancy stage. It’s hard to believe that in 8 short years, but it seemed like the longest 8 years of my life, the ministry is now birthed. I give God all the glory for this.

Before I begin, scripture says “Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;” Psalms 103:4, this is the basis scripture for this ministry. Stay with me, I am going somewhere here. I have lived this out, and I can say if God did it for me, He can do it for you too! I am one who is Made in the Fire first, and now I am lit, God wants others to catch it as well. In the formative years, I had to learn many dynamics of ministry and many expressions of it as well.

Like Jesus, like Moses, like Joshua and Caleb, like Joseph, like David, and like many more, before God brings about your prophecy of destiny, you must embrace your process of destiny first. It’s a process indeed for sure, but it’s necessary in order for a person to be formed in Christ correctly. With that said, having an understanding of the old way of doing things, God told me in January of 2020, you must embrace the new for the old ways of doing ministry will not work in the new.

Writing my thesis recently, those words rang ever so true as I attempted twice before to disciple people using good material, but borne in the old, those groups fell apart. In despair, I cried out to God, and He answered about halfway through my thesis as he had me pause it and anointed me to write a six-month three books discipleship course in three weeks! The fourth week it was ready for publication! I’ve heard of the scribal anointing but never experienced it until then, wow is all I can say.

The new certainly has come, as I finished up with that thesis and my entire way of thinking about ministry has changed! Discipleship in the New Era is a dynamic 3 phase process that forms Christ in you and builds on that. It is not informative by no means; it is meant to cultivate a hunger in a person to be filled with all of God. The results are beginning to bear fruit even in the infancy stage. This stuff works.

With that said, Made in the Fire Ministries is an Apostolic/Prophetic Hub but not a Church, it consists of a Church meaning we as Christians are the Ekklesia, a governing body of people with legislative authority from Jesus sent out into every sphere of society to work with the apostle and prophet and teacher (1 Cor. 12:28) to transform it as the Kingdom of God through them advances. I burn with this desire.

A Church (please see my previous posts concerning Pastoral vs. Apostolic) has many, many departments and functions much like a general hospital, whereas a hub is not so. Much like a specialized unit with its limited functions in perspective to the Church, the Hub delivers a wallop in the area of its specialty. Now, each hub, and there are many dotted all over the place, are positioned by Christ, and anointed in a specific region to not only transform that region, but the Churches within that region.

Much like going to a Chiropractor, it takes one doctor to get the whole body aligned through series of treatments, the same applies here to the Hub as well. Made in the Fire Ministries is Apostolic and Prophetic, but our emphasis is discipleship. There are many forms of it, however not every Church goer is a disciple of Christ. It’s a commitment and it’s a lifestyle and once engaged, you must never turn back, ever.

There will be evangelism, but as the Lord dealt with me specifically in 2015, the way we will evangelize will be different. In the past, we would pass out tracts, and minister, and work the fields, but with us, the difference is us being made in the fire (or rather presence of God), they will come to us! How is this so? God got Moses’ attention through the burning bush, didn’t he? God spoke, Moses’ life was forever changed insomuch that later on, as Moses came down from the maintain Sinai, they had to put a veil over his face because it was too bright to look at. This is the same idea.

As my mentor says “there is no greater witness than a transformed life.” This saying was the icing on the cake, I finally understood what God was showing me in 2015. Adopting Watchman Nee’s principle of discipleship where everyone goes through the training and then go makes them disciples one at a time, but the catch is they will spend time with them one on one and give the newborn the attention they deserve.

Imagine that! Imagine that everyone will have the things of God explained from the get-go. Once the newborn is birthed, they will come to services, this is where it will seem like regular Church. They will grow and develop independently and corporately at the same time and as they mature, the gifts within them will begin to manifest, we will have classes setup to teach just that.

With the hub model, the 5-Fold will be in full operation so that each person can be well rounded. Whatever the gifting is, each 5_Fold “director” will train classes per their gifting and calling. In a nutshell, as those in the ministry grow in the Lord, they will gravitate towards the gifting they are gifted with at that season of their lives to receive the vital nutrition they need to become strong. As this happens, God developing them in the process, they will be serving in some capacity or another as need arises as well as discipling new infant in Christ.

Point is, there’s more work to be done than a little bit! As the Hub grows through those who are maturing, they will be sent out as they are led of the Lord. My goal is to impart this vision into every soul that is part of the hub ” I want to have the emptiest building on the street!” Why? Because they all will be on fire reaching the community where they live. When we see it like that, one will begin to realize just how much work there is to do.

Do you now see why the Apostles had to stop working to give full attention to the ministry of the word and prayer? This is why the 5-Fold is the gifts of Christ because it is governmental in nature. It models that of the Levites who were not entrusted with an inheritance because the Lord was their portion. The tithing system was to take care of them and the things of God, and I foresee that as we all align in this paradigm shift that that concept will become the most prevalent of all and as in the book of Acts, they all had everything in common and no one lacked!

I think this just about does it for now, if this has blessed you, will you consider giving a gift of any size so we can continue to provide you with practical and relevant teaching and preaching? W really appreciate you and thank you in advance. May God bless you richly!

  • I know this will hit some nerves, it has to. I mean blood is thicker than water, right? Not in the Kingdom it isn’t. Some will say the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 Jn. 1:9), and it does, but one must be born again in order for the blood to do its job!

We must not put the cart before the horse. First things are first. So now it seems like I am breaking from the continual flow of the apostolic and Kingdom dimension, so it seems. But look closer, the apostolic builds family for the Kingdom. This leads me to this thought, true discipleship is family. Family is community, community is Kingdom.

Let’s look at it from Jesus. While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.

47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

    Matthew 12:46-50

    I must be mean. I must be hateful. I must be lonely. I just might be! But what I am not is a fool. I know blood family and Church family alike, and like the Apostle Pauls says: What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

    Romans 3:9-12

So then, what’s the use? Why live? Why hope? What’s the solution? It’s like this, God gave the law, some 613 of them to a people who couldn’t even keep their word, much less God’s word to point to God’s ability rather their own. Think about that! So now, what’s the use? Plenty! Jesus was shifting the paradigm of people’s mentality from a natural, to a spiritual one. However, we still love our family, yes we do!

Family is the first step to understanding how God does community. Family is a smaller scale collection of people under a name, place, etc for which they are known. I.E. Jesus of Nazareth, John Mark… Look at the New Testament approach to community.

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that aught of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

34 â€” Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

35 And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,

37 Having — land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

    Acts 4:32-37

Obviously, this is going to be a two-part teaching, but we will close with this thought from this passage of scripture, the apostle Peter at Pentecost spoke up and proclaimed the word of the Lord from the Prophet Joel thus fulfilling that passage at that time. This resulted in a multitude accepting Jesus as Lord. This multitude stayed under the discipleship teaching of the Apostles resulting in this grace manifested insomuch that it cultivated into a community of believers.

Let’s define community in the Webster’s dictionary.

a unified body of individuals: such as

the people with common interests living in a particular area

    broadly the area itself

the problems of a large community

a group of people with a common characteristic or interest living together within a larger society

    a community of retired persons

    a monastic community

a body of persons of common and especially professional interests scattered through a larger society

    the academic community

That’s it for now, stay tuned for part 2 next week. May God bless you greatly as you study God’s Word.

  • After battling sickness for over 7 weeks and then getting a different kind of sickness on top of that, you can guess my temperament and general outlook on things. I am breaking away for the time being from the previous train of thought to speak to you all from the heart. God is still good through it all, and I am well as of right now and I prophesy that I will be well continuously!

Why is the title name the way it is named? When you take a look all over and see the things going on in the world, from a Biblical world view perspective, something has gotta give! Is there doom and gloom? Sure is. Is there gross evil? Most certainly! However, I don’t see the way “normal” people see. Define normal by today’s standard, lol.

The Holy One of Israel in me is rising up to the cause of evil. One might say, there’s so much evil, one can one person does. If you have that mentality, then the answer is little. If you have the mentality of doing your part, then knowing God is leading your path as He said he would only ensure victory as many more people armed with the same mentality of doing their part would sooner or later start to see an army amassing in the midst of this evil.

As David said to King Saul, his brothers, and the Israel army in the face of Goliath, “is there not a cause?” Consequently, we are facing a Philistine (Persian) enemy, but this enemy is a demonic spirit. We look around and can reason much like David did, is there not a cause? David was basically saying “are we going to stand around and let this situation get the better of us?”

We know how the story ends, David took the head off the situation and the rest is history. We too must rise up and begin to take the head off the demonic powers (and not people) who are in the rule or trying to be in the rule and enforce the Kingdom Authority we have been granted! I have lots stirring in my spirit, but I believe this will suffice for now.

Thank you again for reading these blogs. Please feel free to comment, or ask questions. God bless you richly. Until next time.

  • My spirit has been stirring up here the last several weeks over many, many things. I cannot, I will not be idle when so much perverseness is taking place! Am I going to be violent? What are my course of actions? It appears that many groups out there are taking it to people through militant use of force and pursuing a kind of persecution if said actions are not accepted.

The Apostle Peter felt that he had a right to defend Jesus with the use of violence; but let Jesus’ words sink right in. Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

53 â€” Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

54 But how then shall the Scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

55 In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.

56 But all this was done, that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

    Matthew 26:52-56

God knows how to war, after all it’s one of his names- Jehovah Sabaoth. “Look at what Jesus said: But how then shall the Scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?” God is not interested in “taking it to them”, He is more concerned with allowing His word to play out so that what is written would be done. In His grand idea of this whole thing called “the Earth experience”, God already knew what course of action to take so that men might be saved. This is the weightier of the two.

It’s easy to bring harm to people, but it’s much harder to love. What many people fail to see is the catastrophic damage that love actually does to those that oppose Him. Sometimes we are a bit too narrow-minded, and the other times we are somewhat farsighted. We must align ourselves with Jesus and the word of God so we can have the balance needed to walk out this life victoriously.

Love is the end game. It’s also the end times strategy found in the book of Revelation that will ultimately stop Satan and his angels once and for all and put them in their place. The warning here is this: if you are found in opposition to God now, and you choose to not make it right by repentance, you stand in jeopardy of going to the same place as Satan, it’s your choice.

So you see, yes I’m stirred to action, but my kingdom is not of this world, so therefore, I do not use the weapons of this world to fight. Yes, I fight, but not according to the flesh, but according to the spirit. You see, people are not the enemy, the spirits who motivate them are. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

    Ephesians 6:12

If you are provoked to action as I am, make sure you’re fighting correctly, and know also the rules of engagement. As with all of life, if you break the rules, then consequences will come, be sure of it. I hope and pray this has blessed you. I pray this blog has found you well. If you need prayer, please feel free to drop a line at our website: www.madeinthefire.ws.

Till the next time. Be blessed, be safe. Amen.

  • It seems for now we are off the beaten road of ploughing through the trudges and rough terrain; however, this topic is no small topic! Honor is something God is accustomed to receive, as well as give, but do we follow suit?

    God is worthy of Honor:

Bless — the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honor and majesty.

2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

    Psalms 104:1-3

    God gives man honor:

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor.

6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

    7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

    Psalms 8:5-9

    Honor is defined as this:

honour which belongs or is shown to one

    a. of the honour which one has by reason of rank and state of office which he holds

    b. deference, reverence.

In short, it is preferring one above another. As it pertains to God giving honor to man, it is defined this way: magnificence, that is, ornament or splendor: – beauty, comeliness, excellency, glorious, glory, goodly, honour, majesty.

In other words, God when he looks at us, we are these words as is defined! If you’re struggling with identity, then this is something you should think upon, because loves you like this. It’s hard to believe, and for a long time, I too thought it hard to believe that God could love a person like me, but after a while of thinking like this, I began to allow God room in my heart. Needless to say, I don’t struggle any longer in this area because I am fully convinced, He loves me like this!

I also, am fully convinced that He loves you too like this. Why not open your heart to Him?

With that said, God is restoring this kind of honor back into the world! It’s hard to believe it, but it’s true. The whole world will not partake in it, because they love themselves too much, but Christ’s disciples on the other hand, you’ll spot them out quite easily, because of honor which proceeds from love. God’s love will be the main factor that a disciple of Jesus is distinguished from the rest.

I am of a strong conviction that in the days to come, that God may or may not allow certain activity to proceed without due diligence in honor. Honor is depicted of royalty. As the days are beginning to close out, and the darkness seems to be prevailing, the good news is that God will not allow His to be swallowed up by darkness!

God is honorable like that! In these days, we ought to be practicing this thing called honor. Jesus is asking today “Luk 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”

In other words, will we God’s elect, be found loving one another? Will we be found honoring and esteeming one another? This may be the million dollar question!

May God bless you richly. We here at Made in the Fire Ministries would like to wish and pray for all to have a very Happy Thanksgiving! We love you and appreciate you greatly! Blessings!

  • Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

    Hebrews 12:1-3

There’s so much revelation here I do not know where to begin. We will be keeping to the title subject of joy. The Greek definition stems from the root word ‘chara’. ‘Chara’ means to joy, rejoice, rejoicing, great gladness. It comes from the Holy Spirit who causes us to joy no matter what. A tidbit of fact here this is also the root word where we get the gifts of the Holy Spirit (charis) and also charismatic. I bet you didn’t see just how joyful the Holy Spirit is!

To the noun subject matter – Jesus. Here in this scripture set, we are admonished to lay aside all sin especially the ones that keep us down and occupied in order to allow this joy of the Holy Spirit to have His way in our lives. The opposite is true too: there’s no joy in sin. Jesus kept so focused on the Father’s will, that despite all the odds stacked up against him, he persevered. Joy doesn’t mean being happy, no! Joy is attached to the will of the Father and is given to us of the Holy Spirit as a confirmation of being on the right course.

You could say that Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit by joy as a guide to the will of the Father, in this case, it was death, even death by the cross. Metaphorically, we too can be led to our own cross in doing the will of the Father and experience the same joy that Jesus did when He walked the Earth. Happiness unfortunately is temporary, fleeting from one experience to the other. It’s impossible to be happy 24/7, but it is possible to be joyful. Because you know you’re in the father’s will who knows all. That’s peace of mind.

So, you might ask, how to get this joy? I wish I can say it is easy, and to a degree it is, in theory, but it does mean you’ll have to give up something in order to receive something. It starts seeking the father’s face – namely to know AND do his will. Next, Holy Spirit will show you what to give up in order to do the Will of God. Lastly, be obedient to all Holy Spirit shows you and do not play around, this is very serious business. Remember as you walk (one act of obedience to another) hand in hand with the Father, Holy Spirit will begin to fill your heart and then life with the same joy as Jesus had.

Well, this is all for now, I hope this has blessed you. Thank you for taking time to read these blogs. Wishing you and your family a very Joyful Holiday Season. God Bless!

  • I am about to preach a prophetic service December 31, 2023, into January 1, 2024. It’s the first of hopefully many more. The very nature of this service being prophetic, is itself prophetic because of the timing. Prophecy and its nature are based upon timing, and calculations. This service has been a desire of mine for years and years. I had to pray it into existence.

God puts a desire in your ‘womb’, it’s our responsibility to care for it and nurture it and then deliver it. That said, 2024 will be a wild year! I’m not going to spoil the surprise by telling all here to you, if you want to know then you’ll have to wait, this, however, is the prelude to that. Now is the time to get right with God in all areas of life. You probably have heard that, or maybe not, but whatever the case is, NOW is that time.

If you have ever read the book of Revelation or watched movies on it, we have already entered into that time! What I am saying here is there will be more of ‘that’ time in 2024. I am entering into Eldership which means it is the basis God will use to get me from here to there. There being my destination spot. God is doing this to many, many saints. He is arranging the board and getting everybody into place. Now is NOT the time to rebel or resist!

Allow the Lord to deal with you as a son or daughter so that you will be able to cooperate with God, because going forward, if you rebel then when you have a chance to get it right with him now, it will not bode well for you. Sure, God has grace, but because of the timing of things, you may very well be set to the side only to watch as a spectator. Trust me, I have been there and it’s miserable!

God IS cleaning up the prophetic as we all know how we all have treated it in times past, but this is the dawn of a new era! Things are different; therefore, we must think differently, act differently, and speak differently! The way God will be moving then is not the way he is moving now. What worked now may not work then.

In 2019 into 2020, the Lord took me into vision, and we were on the beach. The Lord was on my left side, and I was on his right side. He was holding me as like a friend would wrap his arm around my shoulder as to balance himself using me to keep him up. I remember him telling me to look down at the sand and he began to say that (2019) what worked prior to this year, (his foot was creating a line in the sand) going forward will not work here, for I am doing new things, and you must learn to follow me. Then he left.

Since then, every year (for me) has been personally different with all its challenges, but that has led us all up to now. I believe we need to become resolute like never before and pick the side we will serve on. it’s weird typing this as much as you are reading it, but if you’re complacent, undedicated, und unyielding, this is the same as setting yourself against God! Repent (change your mind) and convert for the remission of your sins, and then receive the gift of the Holy Ghost!

Going forward as I am wrapping this up, will need to rely on the Holy Spirit and get to know him intimately like never before because he will guide us into all truth. And the truth will set us free. Stay tuned for in a few short weeks, we will go live on the YouTube channel in our first annual Prophetic Service, all are welcomed and invited. It may be reviewed on replay, or not, I have not decided yet.

Many blessings to you all my friends, and until the next time, Shalom!

  • Well, like it or not, it’s here, and now let us deal with it. I looked at my wife one day last year, and we both were talking about end times events and scenarios. I told her whether we like it or not, it’s coming and there’s nothing we can do to stop it, so let’s deal with it and get it over with.

She looked at me like, I don’t want to hear this, but I know you’re right. These days, I’m not trying to be right just to say I am right, I’m trying to be right to make heaven and show other people Jesus. The topic is of course the year as you see, but the focus is souls. Building the Kingdom by winning souls to Jesus. These are the last days. These are the days of great prophesies being fulfilled.

These are the days you must lay down your life and die so Jesus can live. Ironic, isn’t it? Jesus needs martyrs (witnesses). God is wanting to move so powerfully, that we will be in the millennial reign of Christ talking about the power of God that was demonstrated. We must change. We must shift our minds from where they are now, to where they need to be. Don’t worry, the Holy Spirit just needs your yes and He will do the rest.

I learned this principle a long time ago. God only needs a yes, and He will do the rest. This should give some of you great consolation as most of you still have this burden on your heart that you carry day after day, year after year. When will this burden lift? Jesus’ yoke is easy, his burden is light. (Matt. 11:30)

Folks, these are the days to really make your Christianity count. If you’re on fire, then burn. If you’re not, then now is the time to consecrate a fast to the Lord and seek his face and find out why. These are the days of the parable of the 10 virgins. Let’s read this.

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11 â€” Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

    Matthew 25:1-13

It’s time to wisen up, allow your life to be trimmed. It’s time to consecrate yourself to the Lord and store the oil. We are living in the days of the great apostasy, the falling away. Watch and pray, be obedient, stay in your word and listen to the Holy Spirit.

I can say a lot more on this subject but I think this is enough. My friends, know that you are loved and cared for and prayed for. Why not connect with us at Made in the Fire Ministries? • Seeing we are in 2024, and we have begun laying a track for the road we are taking for this year, the Lord had impressed upon my heart for a little bit his love being the end game. So how does God’s love and the title of this blog tie in together? This is where the King James Version really shines in terms of capturing the heart of the text. Read these scriptures.

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

    2 Corinthians 5:14-15

The key word here is constraineth, or constrains. Before we delve into its meaning, let us clear up the rest of the supporting text containing the key word. In verse 14, “because we thus judge” is a reasoning statement that supports the text before it. It means to ‘determine that if’, or it could be said ‘we have determined that if’. Next, seeing that Jesus died for all, those who believe in him are dead already to the flesh only to be made alive by the Holy Spirit.

Lastly, verse 15 sums up these two verses by saying that if we have believed in Jesus we live by love. This love causes us to serve him daily and that since we love Him, we will obey him and not be really focused on ourselves as we did before we met Jesus. Yes, we must take care of ourselves, but that’s not what the Apostle was saying, he was implying that before Jesus, we were selfish and self-centered and that our life is much more than ourselves but him.

So now to the really good stuff. Constraineth means this: Figuratively, to constrain, compel, press on. To hold fast, to press together. Of persons having a prisoner in custody. Paul was compelled or constrained to preach “Jesus Christ, and him crucified”). Some might be saying all this is horrible, but when we take a look at the object at play, ie the love of Chirst, then all this defining makes sense, sort of.

Let me summarize this a bit by saying that it was the love of Jesus that captivated his heart that became the prime motivator to write two thirds of the New Testament, to preach countless messages, to suffer at the hand of the unrighteous and still called all this a “light weighted affliction”. I could also say that Jesus truely changed his heart and captured it in order for Paul to endure what he did.

And now, as you see, it is the love of Christ that gave the Apostle Paul the strength he needed for his journey. How about you neighbor? Has Jesus’ love captured your heart? This kind of capturing requires time and is not a thing that comes or goes. In other words, Jesus rocked Paul and kept on rocking him. If Jesus did it for Paul, he will do it for you, but are you willing to pay the price to get it? Time will tell.

  • Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

    Luke 5:4

We are well on our way in 2024, as if we can stop it, lol. I feel the hand of God so very strong, as it has been progressively getting stronger year by year. Some challenges have already arisen from the Lord as we are walking out His will in this new era. I cannot speak for everyone here, but God is calling me to walk on the water. The previous seasons of pain, turmoil, and grief is giving way to greater works of God in my life.

Peter was told by Jesus to launch out. Ironically, Peter had been fishing all night with no results. The word comes to the scene and gives a command, Peter obeyed it and caught more fish in one sitting than probably multiple fishing trips combined! The difference here is Peter allowed the word to speak and he obeyed. Peter launched out in faith. Peter trusted the word, even though he didn’t know the word intimately.

What is the word calling you to do this year? As I have said in previous messages, 2024 and beyond will be years of great faith. Please do not naturalize what the word is telling you to do or use human intellect to figure it out. Just like Peter obeyed the word, we too must obey knowing that all things have already been figured out. God is simply looking for our cooperation to carry out his request(s).

God is certainly speaking these days! He is not speaking like he did in yesterdays though; this may be somewhat of a culture shock for many who have gotten comfortable in last season. I tell you what to get comfortable with: get comfortable with being uncomfortable! Your success will depend upon it. God is also moving unconventionally, meaning that he is not using the same approach he did what may seem to be just a few days ago!

I said all of that to say this, 2024 and beyond will be the greatest years of the Church’s life, but it’s going to cost us everything in order to bring upon the Earth what God designed from the very get-go: The Church in all her glory, then the harvest. Yes! Believe it or not, this greater works God is calling you to has something to do with the end-times!

So, launch out into the deep, but wait for the word’s command if you hadn’t received it yet. If you had, you better get a stepping.

Well, this is all for now. Thank you for taking time to read this post. Please share it if a person is coming to mind. Until the next time. God bless you richly.
